How to make a USB webcam be on a different USB bus


I want to use 2 webcams at the same time, but when I try in every applications like spcagui, xawtv, mplayer, camE, motion, etc, it either does not work or I get the message "No space left on device." I'm at work right now, so I don't have access to the exact message, but thas is the gist of the error.

Through google I see that a modified version of the spca driver overcomes this shortcomming, but the modified version is of an old driver. I'm currently using gspca, and I need to in order to use the Logitech quickcam express and the logitech quickcam for notebooks.

It looks like the only option for someone who cannot use the modified driver is to try making the camera be on a separate bus. The computer that will be creating neighborhood timelapses only has one bus. Device ids can be provided when I'm at home, along with other output like lscpi, but you can also find the same output here:
