I have Suse 10.0 as my master HD and Windows XP as my slave. I had installed one by one and I was able to boot changing the settings in the Bios. Following instruccions from the forum I reinstalled Suse and finally I got the screen with the booting options. Now, my problem is that I can boot linux without a problem, but when I try to boot windows I get this message "chainloader (hd1,0)+1" I can't do anything afterwards but to reset the computer. Any advice to solve this problem?
I tried the command grub> map(hd0)(hd1) and hit enter. I got a message saying that the command is not valid or I have and error. I did this in terminal. am I right? I still have the same problem, I can't boot windows
I just did that again. I typed Grub and then followed the steps in the manual, this time I didn't get any error messages, the I reboot and the same problem
