Builtin sound card, freezing on install test.

Hey folks,

Installed Red hat linux 9 on a P3 machine with a built in soundcard on the motherboard. The first boot detects the sound card and I get the test sound button. When I click on the test, computer freezes and I have to end up power-cycling the machine. The sound device is correct, as it shows.

Any ideas?

P.S. I haven't run any test or any sound once the system has been installed.

Could you post the output of lspci please?
