ati ixp SB400 sound chipset : no sound when acpi=on

Hello everybody

For a month, when resume after hibernate, or at boot, sound is often broken. This happened after a not identified system update.

When I boot with acpi=off, the sound works (but I loose hibernation)
When I activate ALSAMIXER, I often get a message : No Gstreamer plugin
In other cases, ALSAMIXER works, but not the sound. There Banshee eats one processor ressource, and in system log file, I get following messages :
Code:
ALSA sound/pci/atiixp.c:433: atiixp: codec acquire timeout
ALSA sound/pci/atiixp.c:677: atiixp: invalid DMA pointer read 0xffffffff (buf=36a30000)
/sbin/lsmod | grep snd returns :
Code:

snd_ac97_codec 108580 1 snd_atiixp

lspci returns :

I tried without any success following changes :
- downgrading the kernel : I tried 2.6.25.20.18, 2.6.25.20.16
- downgrading Gstreamer : 0.10.24.999 --> 0.10.19-16.1
- remove Pulsaudio
- use OSS instead of ALSA in sound preferences

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks in advance

J-Michel
