I know you might not want to hear this but I have a couple of pointers for you.

1.) You'll get more out of the learning experience if you search and do research yourself. Search the forums, you are bound to find the solution to what you want. Or something close to it. It may take some modification but if you take the time to understand then you will make out better in the end. Trust me. If you can't find your solution here try Google Linux.

2.) You should consider editing the title of your thread. It's not conducive to getting a helpful response. It should be renamed "Backup across network" or something along those lines.

If you take these tips into consideration you'll get better and more effective answers and you'll learn more. I hope this helps

Nope sorry, this is not urgent. We put in our time here for free, even the mods so nothing is urgent to us. You say it is urgent, why should your problem receive more attention that anybody elses?

So you want someone to do the work for you? No way, do it yourself.

What you want is easy, you want to use tar and gzip or bzip2 to compress the data, scp to copy it to PC B and then cron to schedule the burning at midnight. Type those into Google to find more information, otherwise you can type "backup program" into the search box here because this question has been asked a squillion times before.

Sorry, you caught me on a sick day and language barriers are a bitch but man, at least try.

Hi, and welcome to LQ!

Which part of the scenario do you have trouble with?
The network, the file-transfer or the burning? Which
steps did you take so far?

Cheers,
Tink

I still don't know what you need help with. You have copied the files to
the server and created an ISO? It's just about burning the file at a given
time? Or do you need to copy the iso of the clients files that you created
on the server back to the client?

I find your statements rather confusing.

Cheers,
Tink
