Help on modprobe URGENT PLZ!!


Hi,

I have a eepro100 network card.
In /etc/rc.local i put modprobe eepro100
in /etc/modules.conf i put alias eth0 eepro100

The module is no loaded at boot time.
If i enter the command in the shell : modprobe eepro100 everything works.

Why is these files are not executed?

Guys, i need to ship the system in 3 hours. This has to be fixed. Im im desepêrate for any help..

Did you use ath0 or eth0 ?

eth0 Im sorry for the spelling mistake..
the synthax is perfect in the files... please help

These are reversed !!

modprobe should be in rc.local and alias in modules.conf

I inverted them when i wrote here.. Nothing is inverted on the files Im sorry forthe mistake. Im in quite a rush trying to make it work!!

Please if anybody can help me.... it would be really appreciated. Thanks for your time.
