Do the songs (CDDA) entries show up if you run k3b, and select disc info?
Yes, but i not running k3b, it's audio player which pop up itself when I insert CD in gnome. In KDE, the ksCD is pop up. Both player output the sound to the CDROM audio jack.

So, i do this to get my machine recognize cdrom:
cd /dev
ln -s scd0 cdrom
and edit this line in /etc/fstab:
dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom iso9660 user,noexec,nosuid,ro,noauto 0 0
and i can play the audio cd by open kscd. Just that the sound output is from the audio jack of the cdrom itself. I think it is good enough for me. I don want to waste too much time, (especially the GURU here) just to get the sound output to computer's soundcard. (But if anyone know how to do it, pls let me know, if it not take too much of your time, ;p)
Thanks again, u all do a very good job. I really appreciate it, especially the reply is surprisingly fast for a new man like me.
