turn off mouse focusing?

well, you can tell I am a newbie caz I don't even know how to turn mouse focusing off....
it's pretty annoying to me...I kinda would like in detail what file should I modify to change KDE settings like mouse focusing, autometic bring up (cursor bring up windows after 1 sec.)....thanx
I would like to do it by editing config files...so that I can learn about these files, not through some GUI, thanx..
