rpm and packages q


How would I know what apps belong in what package or rpm? ie. I know that /bin/ls belong in fileutils, but where would /bin/ps belong too? Is there a link anyone could provide me with that describes each package?

The rpm command has an option to do that, Check the man pages . I will also try to let you know once i locate it in my memory .
