I just had a strange problem, I am booting into runlevel3 from there I run X (with sdx11 - very handy utility BTW), and when I switched back to virtual console whatever I type is not printing on the screen, but if I hit return the command executes, blindly I've checked if echo was turned off it wasn't I turned it off and on, nothing happened, but after a reboot everything went to normal. Weirdness is surely a part of linux.
Yeah, that's probably it, because if I had BSD loaded on my system as well (which I don't unfortunately) the pinguins then would've been trying to bit poop out of bsd deamons :-)
I have a UNIX keyboard with xmodmap set such way that I have no CAPS key and I don't use a Scroll Lock at all, it was just one timer, and after that reboot nothing strange happens, so I guess I should blame penguins for playing mind tricks with me, but I like penguins
It just freaked me out again, but this time penguin forgot English. What happened I was going to play some RTCW and as usual it won't load (another obsticle RTCW won't load and there is no mouse/keyboard reaction, but ctrl-alt-F1-6 works perfectly),so I had to drop to console to kill it, when I saw my console it was all gibberish with symbols not letters at all. My box is running non-stop sinse my previous post on this thread I don't mind gibberish I can use another vc that speaks English, so anyways I felt like posting it just for fun of it.
