well, if it connects to the msn servers, it must connect with anyone using msn messenger.. but yes, you can communicate with people on windows versions, if it didn't, there would be no point in it..
GAIM didn't work. It seems to be only able to connect to AOL servers. When i go in i had to register, which i didn't. How can i communicate with msn messenger ppl using that? Some sort of trick?
sorry to say it, but how about a tiny bit of RTFMing here?? load the libmsn plugin in the plugin window and you can talk over msn. check the site for docs and other help. http://gaim.sf.net

yeah.. at the main window, open up the options and you should be able to load the plugin from there for msn.
and yes, everybuddy does suck.. tried it.. hated it.

yep works great if you like the command line.. i used it before.. but its not very stable though, sometimes i be logged in and contacts couldn't see me online.. oh well.
