Instant messenger Chat Kopete mandrake linux yahoo and MSN messenger

Hi all
I could never make GAIm work , so I installed Kopete 0.7.1.
I realize that it doesn't work with Yahoo but works with MSN. Does anybody know how to make it to work.
Any chat client which works nicely with both MSN and yahoo?
Thanks
SS

Gaim 0.72 works nicely with all of them. You would probably have to compile it (and any dependencies) from source. But sometimes u cna get lucky with just a few RPMs
