Post the url.

Do you have all the right codecs? Does it work in any other browser, like Konqueror, Opera or Seamonkey?

I tested all the videos from your link. They work without problem.
I use Firefox 1.5.0.3 with mplayerplug-in 3.25

Smile Got it Sorted

Hi..
My linux distribution is Gentoo using KDE.

I had the same problem and I followed this steps:

First, close ALL browsers.

1) Install the latest version of mplayer-plugin
In gentoo: >> # emerge emerge -av =net-www/mplayerplug-in-3.25

2) Afterwards edit the next file: /home/~your user~/.mplayer/config
Write the next lines in it:
vo=xv,x11
ao=arts,esd,oss

3) After some video starts loading, see if it works, if it doesnt, then right click and add the following options:
Video Output: x11
Audio Output: alsa

Check: Enable Southcast PLS support.

I Hope this works for you also!

hi all

i'm having the same problem with mplayer plugin, the page loads, the plugin starts, it tries to get the playlist, but then stops.

i have noticed, copying the url form the plugin, that it can only see file part of the url (from "fredrik.hubbe.net/plugger/test.html?f=test.mov" it only gets "test.mov")

could this be the source of the problem? any ideas on how to fix that?
