Minimize active window in KDE?

In KDE, I know you can minimize the active window by pressing Alt+F3 (to open the command box) then N (to minimize the window).

Is there a way to do it with one key-combination, or can KDE be set that way? It'd be tremendously useful, methinks.

The key bindings are configurable. In the control center, go to "Regional & Accessibility -> Keyboard Shortcuts" and set a shortcut for "Minimize Window".

In 2019:
  • go to kickoff application launcher (click menu button)
  • search for global keyboard shortcuts, and open them
  • in KDE component select KWin
  • search Minimize Window
  • click on it, select Custom, click on the button and choose your own key bindings!
