Menue Problems in KDE 3.4

I just upgraded to KDE 3.4 and I am having problems with adding things to my panel.This question may seem very easy but i have been hassaling on it for the last 2 days. I am not sure how to and the big menue bar. It is the thing that is equvialant of the start button on Windows.Wasnt really sure what to call it. Does any one know where i can add that one? And does any one know how to and the taskbar.When I open up windows they dont show at the bottom of the screen as little bars.Thank you in advance.

For the menu, right-click on the panel and select "Add to panel" -> "Special Button" -> "K Menu".
For the taskbar, right-click on the panel and select "Add to panel" -> "Applet" -> "Taskbar".

Thank you very much I dont see how I wouldn;t of thought that earlier.
