resetting kde-menue

Hello,

are there any ways, deleting and recreating the user excepted, to reset the whole kde menue?

Sorting doesn't really function, symbols get hided, program-links disappear.
How can I restore the sort of my kde-menue I had at beginning?
Can I eventually copy the settings of root, but how? Which file in ~/.kde/ ???

How do you arrange your icons at the kde menue'??

How can I copy them from root?
Isn't there anyone who had the same problem?
