kernel panic !


hi ...

I do working with Pocket Linux Guid project in http://www.tldp.org
But, I Moved this project to My hard disk , my root partiton is sdb9

After Compile new kernel and run it , I receiving this Error :

New kernel. Did we run a make install?
A Pity about that, make install presumes lilo, the other boot loader :-(
Reinstall grub on the hard disk. From memory

grub setup (hdn) e.g. grub setup (hd0)

Otherwise check /boot/grub/menu.lst (LST in smalls) and particularly the root= option. Don't use a label, use /dev/something.

You can also try pressing e on the start screen, and get to edit your boot line.
