I rented a server from Vectoral servers and i have had problems with it from day one crashing, 6 weeks down the line and many emails to them, they sent me this img (see below).
Basiclly they are blaming me and was wondering if anyone could help me out. This server first crashed before i even logged in.
I'm assuming that is something like a co-lo server and not something that you have leased from them to be at your site.
IANAL. And not only that but even if I was I probably wouldn't understand the particularities of the rules that apply in your location.
If they genuinely are blaming you for stuff that happened before you even logged in for the first time, then you might have to prepare to play hardball with them.
Start collecting evidence, because if it does get nasty, you'll need it.
Explain to them your point of view. This should include (ideally,
assuming that the following are true...its more difficult if the following aren't true):
It is their fault, not yours, and that you can prove it.
A crashing server isn't very useful and that as they have been unable to provide you with a server that has the full value (or, potentially, any value) you shouldn't pay for value that they contracted to provide but have not done so.
That court proceedings are undesireable, but, if forced into that, you believe that you will win and that the publicity will not entirely be positive for them.
And you might want to ask them for their proposal to remedy the situation.
It would probably help if I could tell you something technical about the crash dump, but I can't. But if you can prove that the server was crashing before you did anything with it, that might not be important.

This is kind of open-ended. You say they're blaming you, but aren't providing any details as to why they're blaming you. What are you trying to do on this box? What have you loaded? What are the details of what they sent you?
The 'screen shot' of a kernel panic isn't of much help...but IMHO, if you're paying them for support/service, it's up to them to fix it.
Ok thanks for the advise salasi, iv sent off a new email asking for a new server. I wouldnt mind but we have 5 servers with these guys (we resell a few), Il post back when i get a reply.
TB0ne its just a basic lamp install with ftp thats as far as i got before the crash.
