I have installed informix 9 server and I get this error:

-bash-3.2$ oninit -i
oninit: error while loading shared libraries: libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory


I know I need to install libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3 but where can I find them ? I have found them but different versions. Is it ok if I install for example llibc10-2.so.3: instead of libc6.2-2.so.3 ?

I installed CentOS 5 X86_64 and did yum update, after I installed gcc and after I installed the informix server, so I didn't install any libraries or any packages except what I said. DO I have to install anything else in order for the informix server to work ?

Ok, it worked. I have installed compat-libstdc++-296-2.96-138 and it worked.
