Detecting CD burner features - command line

Hello,

Is there a possibility to detect on the commandline if a CD/DVD drive can burn CD/DVD? I need it for a backup/recovery script to give the user the possibility to burn the backup on CD/DVD.

Thanks!

Version : 5
Response Format: 2
Capabilities :
Vendor_info : 'TSSTcorp'
Identification : 'CDRWDVD TS-H492C'
