Backup Software for mixed environment

Ii was just wondering if anyone here is backing up several servers (windows and linux) to one large capacity tape drive. I am evaluating CA arcserv but it is crashing, and I can't get an answer back from veritas if they even have software that will do this.

We use Legato here to backup Win, Solaris, Linux, and AIX machines.

Thanks I'll look into it. Personally I am not sure why we are still running a win2k fileserver here. The thing has crashed twice on me today.
