diablo

Ok, so I know this has probably been asked before, but how do I install Diablo II using Wine?
I'm greatly stumped. Also, I visited the "Frank's Corner" site in hopes that it would work... but it doesn't.

Hi there onthos!

Welcome to LinuxQuestions.org. Well, I think it's better if you tell us what you've been trying to do and why exactly it does not work (error messages, crashes, etc).
Knowing your graphics card and the drivers you are using are always a plus.

Wine is a bit tough sometimes to get things working though. WineX (www.transgaming.com) now known as Cedega, does wonder for Linux gamers. If you like games and if you love Linux (I surely love both), Cedega is a must.

Either way, a common problem with Diablo (and any other multi-CD's games) is when you've to swap disks during installation. If that's your problem, take a look in here:

Good luck mate!

Well, after a grueling battle, I finally got LoD to run. Now I have another problem.
When I click anywhere outside the screen, it shrinks the diablo window into about the size of my curser. Then I can't get it back to normal size. What is a fix for this?

EDIT: new problem. I get an error from Diablo saying my CD key is wrong. Where do I go to change the installed CD Key?
