Diablo 2 under Linux ?

Hello ! Although mostly I find amusement in programming and the internet in general .. I recently started "missing" a game I used to like pretty much : Diablo II ("Expansion" etc.) .. I was wandering if I can get it to run under Linux .. without having Windows installed .. I have about .. 2GB of unformatted disk space if it helps .. So .. can anyone help ? I'm really really really newb to running win32 applications under Linux ..

Thank you for your attention !

I try to run many games under wine but graphics are not well supported (direc3d , opengl). Probably D2 can work due to it low graphics requirements (software mode ?)

Wine requires no windows partition to run. It's meant for linux only systems to be able to use win apps.

Also note that you don't need to pay the $5 subscription for Cedega (WineX), you can just get it from their CVS for free.
If you have a fairly good computer Diablo 2 should run fine in normal Wine though, since as you said the requirements on it are low.

If you have got wine, it is very easy to play diablo, because this game isn't realy 3D. But i had to install Diablo first on a windows machine. Then I copied a No-CD-Crack on it an so I culd run it on Linux too. :-)
