debian, mandrake and alfalinux. Though mandrake is going to go, it's way too controlled.

Slackware (9.1) - kernel 2.4.23
LFS (4) - kernel 2.4.24
Suse (8.0) - kernel 2.4.19

Suse will be replaced by Slack in the near future.

Yeah... but it's not that it wasn't updated, it just sucked. It had auto do this, do that written all over it, and it was kinda bloated, like redhat and suse.
but I'm not very good at explaining this.. I just don't like that it used the GUI a whole lot.

I'm still learning and learning new stuff with linux. I'm still planning on moving on to slack and lfs, so most of the time, I tend to use the commandline: no autonetconf, just ifconf.

Redhat

Use Redhat Linux 9.0, I'm not sure of the Kernal that I'm using. But I'm still like it! Check out my other post about why you like your version of linux! Just search for Linux Opinions, your favorite linux.

Slackware-current and Mandrake 9.2. Mandrake is used for my server, while Slack is used for my desktop.
