who knows the kernel version of each version of linux

the kernel version of RedHat 9 is 2.4.20-8
RedHat Linux 7.3 kernel 2.4.18-3
Redhat Linux 6.0 kernel 2.2.5

but what the others ???
and what the versions of kernel of Debian and of the Mandrake ???
where can I find them ???

linux is there kernel, every version is different, and to list them all would be stupid!

If you go to you can check out the specifications (ie what version of what software) is included in a whole tonne of distros.

Slack 9: kernel 2.4.20
Slack 9.1: kernel 2.4.22

These are the default kernels, you can run any kernel you want with any distro you want .
