Starting Gnome on RH7.3

hi..

I've just installed RH7.3 + Gnome.

How do I configure RH so that when I switch on my computer, it automatically enters in Gnome and not at the command prompt..?

inittab

$su root
#open /etc/inittab with a text editor (like emacs or vim)
change the line:

id:3:initdefault:
to
id:5:initdefault:

save and quit.

#reboot

Also try actually reading the million's of posts and threads about this before asking it. I never thought I'd see myself type that cause I like to be very helpful but come on, this question has been asked a million times. The LQ Search is Very good, try it.

Good luck.
