reinstalled windows and RH7.3 isn't starting

i was working fine with rh7.3 and windows on my PIII 500 Mhz 128 RAM Voodoo 3 Computer, with mouse, sound, everything in linux.
But in Windows I had no mouse, so I reinstalled Windows 98 and now my mouse works fine, but the computer just starts with windows and doesn't askes my anymore if i want to boot rh or windows.

I have no cd-ROM of Rh, so i don't have the boot image file to create a boot disk.

I searched the net for the image files and didn't found anything usefull. I'm also not sure which file to include in my disk.

In the official Red Hat page it says that its good to use rawrite to create a boot disk, so i downloaded those.

Do u need more info?

I only need to acces my linux files to backup them, because im planning on upgrading to suse or rh9.

help would be nice.

I have to say that its nice to work with linux, because its a challenge to face.

thx in advance

Welcome to LQ.

Try getting a boot disk such as PLAC. This should let you mount your root filesystem and run the grub or lilo install command depending on which you used.

are you sure you didn't overwrite linux by accident? I'd hope not..anyway, that should work, just pop the floppy you put it on, in the pc..do a mount on the partition that linux is on, and the partition that windows is on, and then cp the files you want to the windows partition...and then, I'm sure you could figure out what to do from there..
