kernel development distp?

Hi. I will be writing some linux devices in the following months. I was wondering which distro provides more and better tools for kernel development-debugging-performance tweaking-banhcmarking.
I have used in the past Fedora and Suse 9.0. I think that Suse is absolute better than Fedora.... 5 cds than 3. Lot of docs...... more packages which are ready to install.....
However, this is my opinion....and i would like to hear yours.
Suggestion......aadvices are welcomed.
Ahhh any site with
a)info
b)tools
c)how-to
for kernel development?
Take care guys and thank u

Red Hat/Fedora kernels are not usually the same as Linus kernels. Red Hat backports some new features into old production kernels. So it depends what you want to develop for. I don't know about Suse. In any case you can always compile your own kernels, so it's not that critical.
