Kernel development

hi

I am trying to write down a script in order to automate the kernel development .........and I am looking
for an option where I can avoid "make menuconfig" to config the settings....

The reason is , I want that when I run the script I should be able to do everything without going to any GUI for setting config options.

Thanks for any insights into this.........

i assume you're going from an existing config then..... in which case just copy that kernel to replace the default one and make bzimage from there. i don't *think* it will complain... 2.4 was a little fusier than 2.6 though.
