How do I turn off event sound effects in KDE?

By mistake, I enabled sound effects when I installed KDE on my Debian laptop. This laptop is very resource constrained, so the sound effects are not an enhancement on this platform. How can I turn the event-driven sound effects off without reinstalling KDE? What program do I use or, better still, where should I click in KDE's interface?

Thanks in advance,
JJJ
