glxgears displays diagonally

I'm running Fedora Core 10 and whenever I open an application that uses opengl it displays diagonally. I've tried to fix it before, but was unsuccessful. Now, I'm not quite sure how to approach this problem. Snapshot1.png shows what glxgears looks like when it runs. Any help would be appreciated - Thanks in advance!

You should also post your graphics card and the driver module you are using.

My bet is that your glx driver isn't the right one for your video driver. Video is memory mapped, and if you get the width (in pixels) wrong, then it naturally displays diagonally.
