firefox - show animations once

This is such a newb sounding question but I (and google) just can't figure it out.

I'm running firefox in slackware 11. I want animations (animated gifs, ads, logos that sort of thing) to display only once and then stop. No looping. I did this once with firefox but it was in a previous distro and I forget how I did it then. I can't for the life of me find that option anywhere in the firefox configuration dialog now.

Thank you

If for some strange reason it isn't in your about:config you can always add it to your user.js

user_pref("image.animation_mode", "once");

Coolness! For some reason I don't have a user.js file but the about:config method seems to have worked. Thanks
