Are the headphones paired with more than one device, eg your phone and your pc? If so, try disabling bluetooth on all other devices besides your PC and see if the problem corrects itself.
What kind of radio frequency interference is physically on the 2.4GHz band in your area? If there are enough other signals interfering, they can knock out the Bluetooth even when the device is rather close to the computer.
According to the info on the box the battery life is 17 hours (per charge?) and it takes 3 hours to fully recharge it. I've been leaving them connected to the charging port of my laptop overnight. Could I have overcharged the battery?
