First, make sure that you have properly installed the proprietary Nvidia driver for your video (from the Nvidia website).

Then make sure the following entries are in your /etc/X11/xorg.conf file:

Code:
Section "Device"
        Identifier "Videocard0"
        Driver "nvidia"
        Option "dpms"
        Option "UseEdidFreqs" "True"
        Option "RenderAccel" "True"
        Option "AllowGLXWithComposite" "1"
        Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True"
EndSection

Section "Extensions"
        Option "Composite" "Enable"
EndSection
By the way, I assume you are visually impaired, so I replied using the same font size. If you are not visually impaired, using large font is considered especially rude.

I have fixed the fonts in this thread. Please use the normal font, huge fonts make your post difficult to read.

Right-click on the Beryl Manager icon (in the taskbar) and select "Select Window Decorator". Chose one of the entries in the sub-menu until the window decorations return.

Had the same problem. I pleaced next line in the section "screen" in /etc/X11/xorg.conf (found this solution on internet). Solved the problem.

Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True"

Charlie-

You replied to a post that was resolved back in March, with a recommendation that repeated a subset of the information in the second post. Did you forget to have your coffee today?
