Main Question:
After installing Beryl on my newly installed Ubuntu 6.1 i got this
http://img293.imageshack.us/img293/3...ntuloadzc6.jpg screen, and it wont load any farther. What do i do ?
Extra info:
-I followed these instruction
http://wiki.beryl-project.org/wiki/I...th_XGL_and_ATI
-I'm using VMware 5 workstation on a windows machine with 2gb of ddr2 ram a RadeonX1950pro and an AMD Athlon 64 3800+ to. The virtual computer has 512mb of Ram and 10gb of HDD space.
-i installed Beryl on my first boot of this system if that matters.
Second question:
Before i installed Beryl i wanted to change the Screen Resolution to 1280 x 1024 but it didn't let me go up that high. How can i get it that high ?
EDIT:
I found the problem its vmware

just for ppl that notice this same problem I'm gonna answer it here instead of just deleting the post:
Ubuntu does not boot anymore because the script that i used installs a lot of stuff including ATI drivers but the virtual machine does not know that its running on a ATI card it thinks its running on something called VMware SVGA II. All i had to do was follow the instructions on this page:
http://www.vmware.com/support/gsx3/d...l_lin_gsx.html
and it installed the drivers for me.
Second question answer: VMware only lets you go up that high.
