Its part of screenlet package. But CPU meter is always not accurate. Mostly not even close to being approximate. But who cares. It looks great and can make vista and xp users jealous. And that is what makes me HAPPY. <evil smile>
And if you are not fan of Ubuntu, you still can make Fedora 13 look the same way what Ubuntu looks. Even better. I have one F13 machine that does not seem to be even Fedora. F13 has grown a lot as far as looks are concerned and it has quite a lot of similarities with Ubuntu.
Actually I have both Gnome and KDE installed on Fedora13, although I prefer KDE. I'm still trying to figure ou.t KDE4.3 with the FolderView settings and Desktop Activities...
I really like your astronomy desktop background; really cool and all the elements go so well together! Also the CPU meter was a surprise; I'm going to install it to confuse friends. It's about the only thing I like in windoze desktop.
Can I ask where you got the background pic?
Lastly the dock looks nice. I know ZERO about docks, can you provide some info on it pls and why you have so many firefox there? I am going to experiment setting up some kind of dock.

It's easy to make it look like Ubuntu using Gnome as DM. The reason I'm not a fan of Ubuntu is I prefer RPM to DEB for one, and I got used to the way redhat-based distro's do things. So therefore I stick with CentOS and Fedora.

It is very easy though. The desktop background is the slide show and is also default on Gnome on F13. The dock is a mac looking Avant window navigator. Its there in the Ubuntu repositories and I suppose it should be available with YUM. As with CPU meter, you should be able to install it easily with screenlets package that should be also there in YUM repos. And I do use different FF windows for different purposes. And the related links are in same window tabs. It makes it easier for me to navigate through the windows and tabs.
Its so dark and fonts so small. How can you even read?
Easily...
Fonts are normal size, think it's 96 dpi or something.
Colours are good enough to be easily differentiable as well, so all can be read w/o a prob too
Installed Haiku on my EeePC 2g Surf, absolutely loving it. I've always had a soft spot for BeOS and as soon as I saw it had wifi with at least WEP and supported my hardware, I nuked my ArchLinux install.
