According to conventional science there not indigenous either. But rather immigrated here via the Asian continent. You also forgot how they were mostly killed off by foreign disease first.

But this is non relevant to the current state of affairs as this is not the 1700's and I nor anyone alive was involved with such actions.

Lets get more technical. Actually the 'natives' aren't natives of this land either, as you can trace their origins from walking many years ago on the frozen mass of the Berent Strait. Those ancestors spread all over the Americas.

Great! Although I do not think my board would support it. Oddly enough though, even as old as this board is, it supports a rather significant amount of ram for it's age. Max up to 768MB SDRam 133Mhz.

I have no facts but my belief is that 80% of illegals do not ever obtain a social security card. This means they do not pay any taxes except of course state sales tax. Most have no interest in the US except a job. They do not spend any money except the bare necessity to eat and share living quarters with maybe others. They send a majority of their money home. If a person could tally the money that gets sent home every week it would probably make you think the national debt was small thinking.

Hi,

I just got up and was starting to have my java when on the news:

Quote:
excerpt from 'Janet Napolitano Hasn’t Read AZ SB 1070, But Says She Wouldn’t Sign It':

What is it about politicians these days that they don’t think they should read the very laws that they would inflict on us? It’s gotten worse lately with Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano. Holder, the Attorney General of the entire USA and Janet Napolitano, the Secretary of Homeland Security for the United States of America can’t be bothered to read a simple 10 page law before they voice their opposition to it.

I’ve posted the entire text of Arizona SB 1070 – click here. My challenge still stands – copy the parts you find objectionable in the Arizona law and paste them into the comments with your reasons for finding them to be evil. I’m still waiting for the first comment.

As far as I’m concerned, Janet Napolitano is a joke and a bad one at that. She’s more worried about returning Veterans of the Armed Forces of the United States of America being terrorists than she is about securing America’s borders and keeping real terrorists like the Times Square and Christmas Underwear bombers off of airplanes.
Quote:
excerpt from
Napolitano Releases a Statement on SB1070 and Promises More Military Drones on the Frontera
:
“The Arizona immigration law will likely hinder federal law enforcement from carrying out its priorities of detaining and removing dangerous criminal aliens. With the strong support of state and local law enforcement, I vetoed several similar pieces of legislation as Governor of Arizona because they would have diverted critical law enforcement resources from the most serious threats to public safety and undermined the vital trust between local jurisdictions and the communities they serve. I support and am actively working with bipartisan members of Congress to pass comprehensive immigration reform at the federal level because this issue cannot be solved by a patchwork of inconsistent state laws.”
How can the Homeland Sec make a statement like the above? The federal government doesn't enforce the current law. That's why Arizona mirrored the Federal Law to provide the means for local Law enforcement to effect to removal of illegal immigrants that they refuse to address. Eric Holder and Janet Napolitano don't even read a bill that was formed by the State of Arizona yet they comment about how it violates and will cripple any action by the Federal Government.

We are now apologizing to China for our current policies on illegal immigrants. CHINA? Their one of the worst on this planet for crimes against humanity. Why in hell should we be being put on the mat by a country that has one of the worst records for Human Rights. And that's for the ones we are aware of. I would tell them to pi$$ off. Human rights in China vs Human rights in USA? I think the latter would surely surpass the former.

I'm really feeling secure now that I know about the resultant of this great 'CHANGE(pick one)' that you can believe in.

This current administration is nothing more than a dog & pony show, smoke & mirrors along with flippant politicians that think all they need to do is open their mouth instead of performing the assigned tasks. Chicago Politics with a twist!

Thanks to Obama, Emmanuel and the the other clowns! That crisis thing is wearing thin. The American people want a secure and fruitful life for their family, friends along with the future generations not having a passed burden.

That's right. Because the conservatives who have been in power for most of the last 30 years bear absolutely no responsibility for not acting on immigration. Unless of course you count RapMaster Ronnie granting amnesty to illegals.

Why do you blame the people for things you don't understand?

More specifically, why is it that since one group does or does not do something, then the other group can or can not do that thing, respectively?

Would your argument be satisfied if, in a room with 100 conservatives in it were debating whether or not the sky was blue, if 1 of those conservatives said, "The sky is not blue", would you then say your official interpretation of that group's stance is that they think the sky is not blue?

You forgot one:

If you cross the Belgium border,
The power lines are suddenly above ground.
And the telephone lines.

The problem is the misallocation of fault. For conservatives to have done nothing for 8 years about exactly the same problem and then say "it is Obama's fault" with no recognition or allocation of fault back to the Shrub is a misallocation of fault which the Obama fans correct.

The problem is simple: The posters understand all too well. Start allocating fault.

When I say Federal Government it is blanket, not Democrat nor Republican. The Federal Government has failed for far too long to enforce immigration laws. I did not say Bush, Clinton or anyone previous to this administration because the former Presidents cannot resolve this issue. But the current administration can. Something about 'Executive order'. Sure previous Presidents had the opportunity but that's moot, our current President has that opportunity now.

"Holder, the Attorney General of the entire USA and Janet Napolitano, the Secretary of Homeland Security for the United States of America can’t be bothered to read a simple 10 page law before they voice their opposition to it."

I wonder if the President read the SB1070 yet? Since his AG & HSS makes comments without reading the bill. I wonder if this President who claims to be a U.S. Constitutional Lawyer & Professor has read the 'State Of Arizona SB1070'? His lackeys sure didn't!

My guess it is left to underlings or staff so he won't fall to blame.
Maybe he left it to the New Media Staffer?

Never heard of mandatory withholding of taxes? It just means they pay income and social security and Medicare taxes and NEVER collect any benefits.

Which does not give AZ the right to do so.
