Depends on the way it was installed.
if it came as RPM
rpm -e opera
as root will do the trick unless there are dependencies to satisfy before.

is there any way to use anti-aliasing with the fonts for that version of Opera? I'm on 6.12?

Trying to compare it with mozilla, and may move to it, and I'm on Red Hat 9

Thanks,
oswald
