Uninstall without make uninstall
I installed Python-2.3.tgz and now i want to uninstall it (becuase i've realized i should have updated with a rpm) so i type 'make uninstall' in the source directory but i get an error
make: *** No rule to make target `uninstall'. Stop.
what do i do now?
Will i have to manually delete the everything it installed, if so how do i find out where everything is?
Thanks for your help
