Wink Wireless internet on FC 5

If it's possible do I need to d/l a particular RPM; if so where can I find it? Otherwise, is there a application bundled with the system that would help?

From what I gather you have two choices:

1) If Atheros chipset use native Linux madwifi driver.. which is not GPLed so it's not included with most free distros.
2) If any other chipset you'll likely have to use NDIS wrapper and the Windows driver.

In either case first thing you need to do is figure out what kind of wifi card you have. Nobody will be able to help you much without that information.

Yeah, no native linux drivers for broadcom, so you'll need to use ndiswrapper and windows driver. Unfortunately I can't help you further as I've only used madwifi with atheros. Hopefully someone else familiar with ndiswrapper can pick up the ball from here. If not perhaps you can find a clue or two on ndiswrapper's wiki:
http://ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net/m...dex.php/Fedora
FWIW appears your card is known to work:

Have a look here lad. I posted these instructions that i made for myself after spending hours getting ndiswrapper to work on FC4. Hopefully its basically the same in FC5.
http://www.linuxquestions.org/questi...d.php?t=420910

Its the stuff in red that you might find useful ndiswrapper -m is the most useful command.
