"Lock Screen" is not working on Fedora Core 5

This is a fresh install of Fedora Core 5. "Lock Screen" is not working on Fedora Core 5. It black out a little bit and then come back as normal. The screen failed to lock itself up. Where to check in this case?

Works fine for me. Do you have "automatic logon" turned on? That might supply the user password when the screen lock window requests it.

Log in as some other user (I always have a "test" user for this sort of thing) and see if it works for that user.
