Lagged/hanging boot

Well, I installed FC3 when it came out. And after the a clean install I started to see that more and more often after when FC3 tried to "initializing hardware ....video audio" it would stop at "audio" and not do any thing else. This is after the line that I believe says that UDEV is loading.

I have now done another clean install of FC3 hoping to fix this problemn, but it was to no avail. I still have the same problem with the boot stopping at "audio." So I'm forced to restart, and restart, and restart my computer until it final passes the part where I assume it's initiializing my audio hardware.

Any ideas?

...but I've thus stopped using FC3.
