Hi Lenard,

I installed the Marvell/Yukon driver files and I want to remove the installed files so as to re-try the installation. How can I remove those files? The file was named install-8.31.tar.gz. After you unzip and untar his file, the installation is done by running a script:

# ./install.sh

How do I know which files were installed where?

Regards,
Visham

Looks like you need to remove/rename the current kernel source directory and start with a clean fresh kernel source. For example the current kernel source is located in (for example) /usr/src/linux-2.6.16.5 you need to either delete this folders contents or rename it to something else like for example; /usr/src/linux-2.6.16.5test

The files should be located in your /lib/modules/<kernel-version#>/kernel/drivers/net location and should be overwritten during the new kernel building. Use the locate command to find where they are, for example; locate sk98lin

Thx Lenard for the command..

Can someone tell me how to change the resolution on a laptop with the following Graphics Controller:

Intel Corporation Mobile 915GM/GMS/910GML Express Graphics Controller

I read that the XOrg package must be upgraded..I have compiled a new kernel (2.6.16). I want to know if there is support for this hardware in it. I didn't know which one to choose

Warm regards,
Visham
