Question isn't it funny that RedHat builds an O/S that will install on * with * devices but...

They have no HCL on their site that anyone can find easily and then there are no documents either, just a link with a list of docs on the project list.

Makes me wonder about RedHat really, but that's why I gave up on Fedora Core. I don't like to be experimented on so that they can 'perfect' RHEL for their paying customers.

Even Microsoft has an HCL for their operating systems!

Does anyone know the link for the RedHat.com Fedora Project HCL?

Not the link at fedoraproject.org ( http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/HCL ). That site is old and outdated. I want the NEW official HCL link that RedHat.com endorses..........

(my younger brother wants help with FC and I can't even tell him what to put together so he can have a system that is supported by FC!) (!!!!)

Most definitely LQ.org has the HCL that is far superior to other sites. I submitted a few HCL items myself. Soon I'll be submitting a bunch of Tutorials and entering things in the LQ Wiki too!

As for my brother, well, "he" changed his mind with my help. He's going for Debian 3.0r4 instead of the Fedora Project that has a website and no documentation.... and FC has no working mp3 player or codec's, etc.

He definitely made the right choice in my book. I may send him ubuntu though. That's a nice Linux distro too.
