Ok, I found out why all of my browsers were not recongnizing the Flash plugin. I ran my browser from terminal and noticed that 'libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3' was not installed. I went ahead and download the RPM, installed it and all browsers work now.

Normally, you should be able to run the flash-installer and be good. In case you are in the same boat as me, and many others from the sound of it, run launch your browser from a terminal and check for any errors outputed to the terminal or log files.

well I am giving up. I can't get the stupid plugin to work at all. I have tried everything to get it working and nothing has worked.

Thanks for the help guys. I appreciate it, but this is retarded and I don't even want to screw with it anymore.

In Mandrake 9.2, all you need to do is install the libstdc++2.10.rpm package.

This package is NOT installed by default and is required by flash plugin.
