FC2+ltmodem+softIRQ problem

Finally i made my soft modem Lucent work in FC2 with drivers ltmodem-2.6-alk-4.tar.bz2 (http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/pack...em/kernel-2.6/).
In KPPP query modem is OK.
Then I tried to dial my ISP
ATDP '1232323' runs OK,
I hear usual modem sounds of establishing connection and a few seconds later - connection is over (I hear a click) and machine hangs.
I have never seen this before, I tried console WVDIAL 1.53 then to see at least some sort of output:

*****************************************
Initialization
..............................
ATDP '1232323' OK

.................................
..................................
A lot of mistakes
..................................
-------------------------------------
Error code .......
Kernel panic - softirq error
*****************************************

Please help me - I don't know what to do!
Modem works fine in WinXP - I'm writing from Win.

Should I put modem into another PCI slot?
Should I use 'setserial ... irq #'?

I'm new to Linux and I need help!

My kernel is FC2 default 2.6.5-1.358

Sound SBLive!5.1
HDD ST80GB

Thank you.
