I am trying to install Fedora core 4 on this computer:
MSI K8N NEO4 F, nForce4, Socket-939, ATX Raid, Lyd, 4xSATA, GbLAN, PCI-Ex16
AMD Athlon 64 3200+ 2.0GHz Socket 939, 512KB, BOXED m/vifte
Corsair Value S. PC3200 DDR-DIMM 1024MB Unbuffered, Non-parity, 128Megx64, CL3
Gainward GeForce 6600GT 128MB GDDR3, PCI-Express,"Ultra/1960PCX Golden Sample
My partitions is set up like this
windows xp Swap / (ext3) NTFS
I choose to format "/" and leave everything else the way it is. Grub is to be installed on MBR.
After all the settings are set, I get an error when i try to start the main install. This part
Error informing the kernal about modifications to partition /dev/hda5 - device or resource busy. This means Linux won't know about any changes you made to /dev/hda5 until you reboot--you shouldn't mount it or use it in any way before rebooting.
I hav tried to format swap and /. I have tried to disable "SElinux". But the installation always stops whith this error. Any suggestions?
I can't find any posts about this, and those who exists are not sovled
