Has the tidal wave of Debian updates finally subsided?

Just curious - with the release of Sarge imminent, it looks to me like the flood of packages drifting through unstable and into testing has finally slowed down. I've gone from many many packages updated and newly available, to just 5 in the past two weeks. Unless something is screwed with my apt sources (AARNET, wa.au.debian.org and the primary debian.org mirrors)

I knew the release schedule was tight and that a very aggressive approach was being taken to get the Sarge packages ready, but sheesh that was some serious downloading I had to do!

I imagine updates will be on hold while they sort out the recent security breach.

They are still trying to determine the root exploit that was used.
Until they do things will be in limbo.
Details from the horses mouth here.

As soon as things get back to normal there will be an even greater flood!

Aah, I knew not of the security breach (I have been away from this computer a lot recently) I should read debian-devel-announce more often.

Just as well my download quota ticks over on Monday night, then!
