Debian at the Google Summer of Code 2009

Lots of Debian goodness at this year's SoC. I'm especially excited about the Aptitude history tracking. Good stuff.

I would like to see some very good programs come from this also. I think it's a good idea of google to offer the SOC...I just hate that one of my favorite programs seems to have died, sbackup.

I don't see that on the soc page. Where you just adding an unrelated tidbit or did sbackup originate from the sco?

sbackup originate from the Summer Of Code 2005 and had been around till recently it seems. It started out for Ubuntu but Debian did it have until maybe last year or so.

I'm at work at the moment but it may still be available.
