When I run e2fsck/fsck, I find that the following message appears:
Code:

If you run tune2fs:
Code:

audio with tv tuner card

Posted 09-19-2012 at 07:12 PM by ted_chou12

I recently got audio with tv card, first must connect a physical wire (red,white,black) from the video tuner card to the mother board or your sound card, then do
Code:
modprobe snd-bt87x load_all=1
sox -t alsa hw:1,1 -t alsa hw:0,0
And you should be able to hear the sound as you change through the channels, (if still not, dont forget to max the pcm volume in your mixer options)
Code:
alsamixer
Thanks,
Ted

[Desktop]
show_desktop=1
show_wallpaper=1

xterm to display wide font properly

Posted 08-28-2012 at 03:02 PM by ted_chou12

I was trying to use export LANG=zh_TW.UTF8, so that my command line at least give me some feedback in chinese. But despite of a readable font, it doesnt display correctly, because the characters seem to show up with spaces inbetween. That looked ugly. So I searched on the web to customize the font in my ./~XDefaults finally:
Code:
!xsession*windows_manager: icewm-rox
!xsession*sound_server: jackd

xterm*title:		Xterm
xterm*font:		-misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--18-120-100-100-c-90-iso10646-1
